Dubai: The coastal areas of Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be mostly cloudy while some rain clouds are expected in Al Ain and Fujairah this weekend.
Weather will continue to be hot on Friday and Saturday with Dubai having temperatures of between 31 degree Celsius and 41C, Abu Dhabi 30C and 42C, and Sharjah 29C and 42C, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology.
The amount of clouds will increase by afternoon in eastern areas in Fujairah and southern areas, particularly Al Ain. There are chances of “a few rain” as these convective clouds are associated with rain.
Winds will be light to moderate in general, freshening at times with cloud activity, and may kick up loose dust and cause poor visibility.
The relative humidity will increase at night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, especially in the western area, and could cause formation of fog or mist.
The Arabian Gulf will be moderate to rough at times while the Oman Sea will be rough with offshore waves reaching up to seven feet.
