At the end of a fortnight peppered with rain, dust storms and generally cool winds, the UAE is not ready to give up on the season just yet.

The National Center of Meteorology says the nation can expect fair to partly cloudy weather in general, although it may get hazy at times.

Clouds are to develop eastwards and the wind is set to cause a scattering of dust.

The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will weather a slight to moderate day, the centre said.

The mercury, however, is edging higher. Ras Al Khaimah recorded the lowest temperature — 15 degress Celsius at 6am on Sunday — from 10.8 degrees C at Raknah on Saturday.

Humidity, meanwhile, is expected at 31 per cent with windspeeds at up to 13 km/h.
