Dubai: Thick fog enveloped parts of Dubai, Sharjah and the UAE on Saturday morning.
The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) warned of "poor visibility of less than 100 metres" on Abu Dhabi-Dubai roads, the Abu Dhabi western area, Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.
The weather bureau also forecast more fog on Saturday evening and on Sunday morning.
Emirates, on Twitter, advised passengers to check their flight status before heading to the airport, warning of severe fog disrupting flights at the Dubai International Airport.
