Dubai: If you have plans to go outdoors this weekend, you might want to do so early in the morning, or early evening, as the weather won’t be on your side.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said weekend weather will continue to be hot to very hot with the temperature reaching highs of 45-47 degrees Celsius on Friday and Saturday across most emirates except Fujairah.

The city of Fujairah will have a maximum temperature of 39-40C.

Humidity levels will be lower this weekend along the coastal cities of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah that will also have sunny skies during the day.

The amount of clouds will increase over eastern and southern areas.

Moderate to fresh winds will kick up dust over exposed areas and may reduce visibility in some parts.

Residents with respiratory conditions are advised to take precautions while motorists are asked to drive safely.

The Arabian Gulf will be moderate becoming rough while the Oman Sea will be moderate.
