Ras Al Khaimah: A 32-year-old Asian driver was killed and another driver injured on Thursday in a crash involving two trucks in Ras Al Khaimah, said Lieutenant-Colonel Rashid Salem Al Za’abi, director of Al Digdagga police station.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the accident occurred because of not maintaining safe distance between the trucks.
The truck driven by a 33-year-old Asian driver crashed into a truck in front, killing the driver on the spot. Police patrols and paramedics who reached the site found one driver dead and the driver of the other truck injured. The body of the deceased was transferred to a hospital morgue.
