Abu Dhabi: Saaed, the organisation managing traffic accidents and road incidents across the UAE except Dubai, plans to provide most of its public services via its online portal. This will help customers avoid visiting its service centres, said a press release issued by the Ministry of Interior on Wednesday.

This comes in line with the government directive to provide 80 per cent of public services electronically by 2018.

It also aims to apply quick intervention system and traffic management by early 2017, which will support the accident management, safety, and security.

“The company is keen on providing high quality services, products and solutions based on international standards to all customers,” said Ahmad Al Saaeri, chief executive of operations at Saeed.

Saaed completed around 68,392 transactions across 15 service centres in the country in the past eight months, of which 42,688 transactions were in Abu Dhabi and 25,704 in Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain.
