Dubai: Motorists can benefit from 50 per cent discount on traffic fines until March 1 next year, Dubai police said on Tuesday.
Dubai Police reminded drivers that all traffic fines will be eligible for a 50 per cent discount.
“The 50 percent discount in traffic fines ends on March1, 2018. Motorists can also pay off their fines through Dubai police app and smart channels,” Dubai Police tweeted on Thursday.
Under the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Dubai Police offers 50% discount on traffic fines incurred from January 1, 2017 to December 2, 2017.
Dubai Police offered various means to facilitate the payment of fine, through the traffic department and all police and car registration centers as well as kiosks in all commercial centers.
Fine payments can also be done online, through UAE bank sites and RTA centres. The discount will be automatically set when paying the fines.
