Dubai: Motorists have been urged to avoid the roads the Tour Dubai will pass through over the next four days to ensure there are no delays.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is coordinating with Dubai Police and the organisers of Tour Dubai to ensure there are minimal delays to traffic movement.
“We are making sure there are no delays beyond 30 minutes on any road where the Tour Dubai will pass through, though traffic movement will slow down during that particular time. So we advise motorists to see which routes will be affected and try to use alternative routes,” said Hussain Al Banna, Director of Traffic at RTA’s Traffic and Roads Agency.
He added that signs have been put up on streets leading to Tour Dubai routes so that motorists can use alternatives.
