Dubai: Dubai Frame will be closed on Tuesday morning for a private function, it was announced on Monday.
“We would like to inform you that the Dubai Frame will be closed on Tuesday 20th for a private function, and will resume welcoming all visitors after 1pm only. Thanks for understanding!” Dubai Frame posted on its social media channels on Monday night.
Said to be the first building to be covered with a layer of golden cladding metal, the twin tower project with a glass bridge at a height of 150 metre is the latest tourist attraction in Dubai.

An architectural landmark bridging Dubai’s past, present and future, Dubai Frame gives a 360 degree view of the city with the skylines of New Dubai to the south and Old Dubai to the north.
Tens of thousands of people, including celebrities, ministers, diplomats and top personalities from various countries have visited Dubai Frame since its public opening on January 1.
The authorities have not disclosed the details about the private function taking place at Dubai Frame on Tuesday morning which will restrict the entry of visitors for at least three hours.
On January 31, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council (DEC) chaired a meeting of the DEC at Dubai Frame. A temporary conference room was set up at the Sky Bridge for the special meeting.
Dubai Frame announced its tickets were sold out for two days prior to that day, presumably for making arrangements for the DEC’s special meeting.
Dubai Frame can be accessed from gate number 4 of Zabeel Park.
Open from 10am to 7pm daily, it has a capacity of 1,800 visitors per day.
Officials have also allowed more people to enter the Frame by managing the crowd visiting it in the first few weeks after it opened
On most days, the facility reaches its full capacity.
Once the tickets are sold out for a day, it is announced through the social media channels of Dubai Frame and Dubai Municipality.
