Dubai: The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) and the Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) have announced the ‘A Million Reasons To Shop’ promotion, offering shoppers who spend a minimum of Dh200 the chance to win up to Dh1,000,000 in prizes from January 1 to February 1, 2015.
The promotion is part of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF). Almost all the leading shopping malls and retail outlets will participate in the event and offer special DSF discounts and deals.
The Dh1,000,000 being given away in the promotion will be in the form of cash prizes and shopping vouchers, providing residents and visitors another incentive to celebrate DSF.
The campaign will have raffle draws taking place on January 9, 16, 23, and February 1. It will also see Dh20,000 in cash awarded to five winners each week and a mega bumper cash prize worth Dh100,000 for one winner every week.
What’s more, shoppers will also be given the opportunity to double their chances of winning, with instant scratch and win prizes worth Dh1,000 each, to be given to 200 shoppers. To participate, customers need to purchase items for Dh200 or more to be entitled to a raffle coupon that will give them the chance to enter the draw.
DSF sees thousands of retail outlets offering discounts of up to 75 per cent on everything from gold, perfume, haute couture fashion brands, electronics to handicrafts and textiles.
The participating malls in the upcoming campaign include Al Bustan Centre, Al Ghurair Centre, Al Manal Centre, Al Mulla Plaza, Arabian Centre, Bin Sougat Centre, Century Mall, Lamcy Plaza, Mazaya Centre, Oasis Centre, Sunset Mall, Palm Strip, Times Square Centre, Etihad Mall, Barsha, Karama Centre, and Madina Mall.
