Sharjah: Sharjah Media Corporation is gearing up to launch a line-up of programmes and drama series on its various channels during Ramadan. The new schedule includes a variety of programmes that vary from literary to cultural, intellectual, art and society, economic, financial, tourism and media. The programmes and drama series will be broadcast live or on replay during the morning and evening.

The launch of the programmes is in line with the corporation’s movement to support the trend among viewers to learn more about the meaning of the holy month and to focus in its programmes on the family and children. The programmes aim to instil Arabic and Islamic values in the emirate and UAE and to celebrate and highlight these values in order to raise the profile of Sharjah globally, in keeping with its reputation as the capital of Islamic culture.
