Sharjah celebrity photographer Lorenzo Agius’ exhibition at the Sharjah International Photography Festival, Xposure 2017, allows one a few moments of quiet with some of Hollywood’s biggest heartthrobs.
If you remember the iconic images of Ewan McGregor and cast for the Trainspotting ad campaign, Agius is the man behind it. It is what he began his career with 20 years ago.
Agius’ stunning portraiture technique is showcased at the festival through Jack Nicholson, Madonna, Samuel L. Jackson, Tilda Swinton, Bryan Cranston, Toby McGuire, Kate Blanchett and many others who represent Hollywood’s finest. He has become known as one of the pre-eminent portrait photographers of his generation and continues to work around the world for numerous commercial, film and editorial clients.
His works feature at the London’s National Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection.
