Sharjah: The Sharjah Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) will honour the participants of the ‘Together for a Beautiful Summer’ children’s activity programme at a ceremony on Sunday.
The programme targets students aged 5-15 years old and recognises the diverse package of activities that run from July 17-24.
Hana Saif Al Suwaidi, Chairperson of EPAA, said: “The EPAA pays great attention to environmental efforts and awareness activities which enhance and develop the capabilities and skills of students of all ages. By helping to invest in the talents and potential of children, the EPAA encourages them to benefit from their time fruitfully.”
Al Suwaidi further clarified that the “Together for a Beautiful Summer” programme’s aim is to develop creative thinking for all participants, providing an educational environment that motivates students to attain their full creative potential.
“The programme introduces the children to some innovative educational workshops and acquaints them with the importance of reading and its evolution in local communities,” Al Suwaidi added.
