Dubai: The Federal Authority for Human Resources has announced that January 1 will be a holiday for ministries and federal institutions in the UAE to celebrate the New Year.
The UAE Ministry of Labour also issued a circular announcing that private sector employees will also get a holiday on January 1.
The authority extended its greetings on this occasion to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and people of the UAE.
