Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has ordered the distribution of 715 houses to eligible Emiratis in the emirate.

Shaikh Mohammad’s order follows instructions given by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The new batch of houses comprise 663 in Abu Dhabi and 52 in Sila’a in the Western Region.

The provision of houses and a decent life for citizens tops the list of priorities of Abu Dhabi government’s inclusive development agenda in compliance with the leadership’s vision for leveraging citizens’ lives to the pace of socio-economic developments the emirate is witnessing.

The move is guided by the unique social and development approach launched by the late founding father, Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, which places human beings at the top of development plans.

The allocation of new houses also underlines the proper care paid by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, and the close follow-up by Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority.

The new residential communities were designed to the world’s best architectural specifications and serviced with integrated infrastructure and facilities to ensure the highest levels of safety, comfort and convenience.

Saif Badr Al Qaisi, acting Director-General of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, said the delivery of new houses to Emiratis in Abu Dhabi comes in line with the wise leadership’s keenness to ensure Emiratis enjoy all means of a dignified life and mobilise all the potential and capabilities to press ahead with the comprehensive development in the emirate.
