Dubai: Registration for the 15th edition of the Arab Media Forum (AMF) has opened, the organising committee of the annual forum announced on Saturday.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the forum is being held on May 10 and 11 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

An initiative of Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the forum is being organised by Dubai Press Club (DPC).

Alia Al Theeb, media content development manager at DPC, called on media professionals to register online on the forum’s official website — www.arabmediaforum.com — as there will be no registration on site.

She also announced that a dedicated internal team from Dubai Press Club has been assigned to handle all registration-related queries in an attempt to organise the registration system and make it easy.

The deadline for the online registration is May 5.

Al Theeb said the AMF organising committee is finalising the agenda of the event and will announce it over the next few days, along with the programme of other side activities of the forum.

This year’s edition of the forum, held under the theme “Media for good”, will cover topics related to the role of Arab media in maintaining and spreading human values in the society.
