Dubai: Fireworks will once again light up the Dubai night sky during the Eid in Dubai celebrations this Eid Al Fitr.

Eid in Dubai is the last phase of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment’s three-month long ‘Summer is Dubai’ campaign. The DFRE is an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.

A daily display of fireworks by world-renowned experts will dazzle spectators in two key places in the emirate, with an interval of 30 minutes.

For three nights during the Eid holidays beginning at 9.30pm, visitors can watch a firework show above Dubai Creek along Al Seef Street.

At 10pm, Dubai Festival City visitors will get a chance to witness a similar fireworks show but with some additional features of a light and sound show.

The daily fireworks show, which will last a few minutes, will transform the sky over the Creek and Dubai Festival City into a riot of colour and light. The shows are expected to add to the city’s charm, DFRE said. The public may witness the displays from vantage points in the city. DFRE said intricate patterns of fireworks, including red, green, and golden beams, will flash across the sky. Spectators will also witness fireworks bursting like shooting stars and golden fountains.
