Al Ain: Al Ain Zoo has changed its operating hours enabling people to enjoy outdoor evening activities at its premises and avoiding the daytime summer heat. The zoo will open daily from 4pm to 10pm and from 6pm to 12am during Ramadan.

Various animal enclosure have specially been prepared for the visitors’ night zoo experience. A variety of exciting activities such as the live bird shows and weekly educational movie screenings will be held at the parrots’ tent. The zoo’s resident experts will lead informative discussions on turtles. Live crocodile feedings will also take place, under the supervision of the crocodile keepers, allowing for a thrilling and exciting experience, said a spokesperson.

To get a different perspective, night vision goggles are available for rent. The goggles allow visitors to experience first-hand how animal behaviour differs at night.
