Dubai: A landmark cooperation agreement was signed by the Sharjah Health Authority and the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Health and Welfare,.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Moon Hyungpyo, Minister of Health of South Korea, and Abdullah Ali Nahyan, Chairman of Sharjah Health Authority.

The cooperation will allow the study and recommendation of Korean medical specialities along with the introduction of best practices from the Korean health insurance system in the SHA’s health insurance system.

Additionally, successful paediatric centres will allow collaboration with the Sharjah Health Authority. The landmark agreement serves as an extension to a Memorandum of Understanding signed over a year ago.

The MoU willnot only strengthen cooperation in 13 areas that support the authority’s accomplishments but provide health-care services by the most advanced international experts.

The agreement wishes to strengthen relations and cement core partnerships with the main objective of sharing knowledge, best practices and human resource with international counterparts by holding conferences.
