In case of traffic accidents, the ambulance service fees defined in this resolution are not applicable and the fees will be charged according to the Executive Council Resolution No. 2 of 2016, which stipulates that Dubai Police and DCAS may collect Dh6,770 per patient from the insurance company of the person at fault against the ambulance and medical evacuation services.

Appendix 2 of the resolution defines DCAS’ fees against providing training services or evacuation drills to non-government entities. The resolution authorises DCAS to collect fees from the patient’s insurance company against its services as prescribed in Appendix 1 pertaining to emergency services; and the patient, under any circumstance, does not bear any financial liability or copay against the services provided. Meanwhile, DCAS is obligated to provide ambulance services for patients that do not hold insurance or hold an expired insurance.
