Dubai: Aster DM Healthcare opened a large private ambulatory care facility on Al Muteena Street, Deira, relocating a previous centre from Naif Street here. This was aimed at providing the people of the neighbourhood easy access to health-care facilities. The centre was inaugurated by Eisa Al Maidour, director-general of Dubai Health Authority (DHA), and Dr Layla Al Marzouqi, Acting Head of DHA’s Dubai Health Regulation Committee.
Commenting on the launch of the facility, Dr Azad Moopen, Head of Aster DM Healthcare, said, “It gives us immense pleasure to enhance health services, medical specialities, expertise and ambience of the existing facility by relocating it to a nearby area. We aim to provide comprehensive family medical services in line with the strategic plans of Dubai Government to cover the health-care needs of a wider residential community. Our services are aligned with the recent mandatory health insurance regulations in the emirate.”

The centre providing affordable health-care facilities for the neighbourhood and spread over an area of 15,000 sq ft, will be functional seven days a week from 8am to 12 midnight. “We are committed to provide individual attention and exceptional service to patients in a comfortable ambience, backed by a team of expert doctors across a wide range of specialities, health-care professionals and high-end medical technology,” she added.
