The centre aims to facilitate and streamline the access to vital government services through reducing the number of visits to all in one visit and unified payment.

The Service 1 centre will provide a platform to engage customers in designing government services that focus on their needs and meet their aspirations through continuous sessions to be held in the centre or through virtual channels using smart and innovative tools and technologies. All that is to provide customers with unforgettable experience and save their time and efforts.

“The centre will be a lab for testing all development suggestions proposed by the public. It will feature a platform that bring the public and government together so as to discuss ideas on daily basis. The Service 1 is just the beginning for many centers, steps and innovations to come. We will not stop, as our end goal is always to obtain the first rank in terms of government services globally by 2020,” Shaikh Mohammad said.

He stressed the importance of consolidating such a model as a unique identity for the UAE government, to supports its approaches and visions as a leading county in developing government action and taking it into new heights of efficiency and effectiveness.

We want the customer to spot a different, comfortable, flexible and welcoming atmosphere at our service centres though employing advanced technologies and make them available and accessible where they can get all services in one visit only, he added.

The Service 1 centre features the world’s artificial intelligence technology, Watson, which was developed by IBM and Mubadal though the joint venture Cognit.

This feature will explain services to customers and will answer their inquires in both languages (English and Arabic) through the Middle East’s largest smart touch screen.

The centre will offer three joint services in the first phase including “Mabrook Ma Dabrt” (congratulations on your marriage), “Mabrook Ma Yak” (congratulations on your baby) and employment.

It will also offer a platform that is tailored to design shared services through hosting customers and relevant government and private sectors to discuss possible ways to develop and design vital services.
