Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Saturday received US Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, who is visiting the UAE.
Shaikh Mohammad welcomed the senator to the UAE and discussed with him cooperation and friendly relations between the UAE and the US, and ways to boost them to serve the common interests of both nations.
Shaikh Mohammad and Cotton reviewed the latest regional and international issues of mutual concern as well as global initiatives and international efforts being made to contain crisis going on in the region.
The meeting was attended by Dr Anwar Mohammad Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; and Mohammad Mubarak Al Mazroui, undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.
