Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Wednesday received a delegation of the National Defence College at Al Bahr Palace.

Shaikh Mohammad welcomed the delegation led by Major-General Staff Pilot Rashad Mohammad Salem Al Sa’adi, Commander of the college, who briefed him on the college’s most important academic programmes and training.

He wished the administrative and teaching faculty success in achieving the goals and scientific message of the college.

The delegates expressed their delight at meeting Shaikh Mohammad and reaffirmed their keenness to translate the directives of the wise leadership into further excellence and progress.

The meeting was attended by Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, other Shaikhs and senior officials.

Food authority team

Meanwhile, Shaikh Mohammad also received a delegation of the Abu Dhabi Food Authority, accompanied by Shaikh Mansour.

He was briefed on the procedures and modern methods used in food control as well as the authority’s policy for conducting studies and research to ensure food safety. Shaikh Mohammad was also updated on plans to support sustainable agriculture and preserve natural resources.
