Khor Fakkan, Ras Al Khaimah: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Thursday offered his condolences to the families of Emirati martyrs.

Shaikh Mohammad offered condolences on the death of martyr Abdullah Mohammad Eisa Al Hammadi, who died while performing his national duty in the UAE, and martyr Hassan Abdullah Mohammad Al Bishr, an Armed Forcers soldier who died while participating in Operation Restoring Hope, which is being carried out by Saudi-led Arab Coalition to back the legitimate Yemeni government.

Shaikh Mohammad offered his heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs during a visit to the mourning majlises in Khor Fakkan, Sharjah, and Al Dhait, Ras Al Khaimah.

Shaikh Mohammad prayed to the Almighty to rest the martyrs’ souls in Paradise and grant solace and patience to their families.

While speaking with the families, Shaikh Mohammad expressed the UAE leadership and people’s immense pride in the protectors of the nation, and everything that they have sacrificed to serve justice and the UAE.

“Our misfortune and our pride are one. We all contribute to protecting the UAE and sacrifice all that is precious for the sake of the nation. The sacrifices of our heroes represent the most noble and honourable image of diligence and sacrifice, a diligence and sacrifice that cannot be matched or compared,” Shaikh Mohammad said.

“The dedication, courage, strong stand and heroics of our martyrs in the fields of battle are a great chapter of our history. Their names will be immortalised in our memories, and they will be a source of inspiration for future generations in values of patriotism, sacrifice and bravery,” he added.

“We are all very proud of the show of strength, patience and determination by the martyrs’ families. The entire nation has rallied around them, reflecting our social cohesion. We are witnessing this cohesion among members of society,” said Shaikh Mohammad, as he pointed out that “our dear nation is embracing the pinnacle of glory thanks to the sacrifice, hard work and dedication of its citizens”.

Also offering condolences alongside Shaikh Mohammad were Mohammad Ahmad Al Bawardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and other senior officials and military officers.
