Paris:His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Wednesday held a meeting in Paris with Emmanuel Macron, President of France.

The meeting touched on bilateral relations, issues of mutual concern and the latest regional updates.

The two leaders discussed strategic relations between the UAE and France, and ways to enhance them in light of the strong friendly bond and mutual interests shared by the two nations.

Shaikh Mohammad and Macron spoke about the development of relations in different fields, particularly culture, education, economy and military, as well as ways to utilise available investment opportunities in the UAE and France.

Shaikh Mohammad conveyed to Macron the greetings of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Shaikh Mohammad also congratulated Macron, and wished him success in leading France into more progress and prosperity.

He reaffirmed that the UAE gives great attention to its relations with France, and that it is always working on driving these relations forward in all areas.

Macron welcomed Shaikh Mohammad, and expressed hope that this visit will contribute to consolidating the constructive cooperation between the UAE and France.

Macron also said that the visit is an opportunity to discuss regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Present during the meeting were Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
