Makkah: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has joined Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz in the funeral prayer for the late Saudi Crown Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz.

Saudi princes, heads of states, representatives of Arab and Islamic countries and a large congregation performed the funeral prayer and prayed for mercy for the soul of the late prince. The body of the late Prince Nayef then was buried in the Al Adl cemetery in Makkah.

Shaikh Mohammad later conveyed the condolences of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to King Abdullah and to the family of Prince Nayef.

Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed was accompanied by Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy ruler of Dubai, Lt. General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Mohammad Mubarak Al Mazrouie, Undersecretary of the court of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
