Dubai: A group of inspectors from the Permanent Committee for Labourers’ Affairs in Dubai (PCLA) has completed a specialised course on the art of negotiation with workers.

The course was aimed at helping inspectors know how to take advantage of technical analysis during inspection campaigns.

The workshop was attended by 30 inspectors and was held at Dubai Police Officers’ Club over three days.

The workshop was held in partnership with the Human Rights Department of Dubai Police and was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Naturalisation and Human Resources and representatives from Sharjah Police.

Major General Obaid Muhair Bin Sorour, chairman of the Permanent Committee for Labourers’ Affairs in Dubai, said it is important to raise the efficiency of those who work in the field of inspection and negotiation with labourers in order to achieve the best results during the inspection campaigns and protect workers’ rights.
