The new version of the UAE’s largest the discount programme Imtiyazat has been recently launched by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR).
Imtiyazat is a discount programme by which the FAHR coordinates and forges partnerships with private commercial and service companies and institutions to grant federal government employees and their families special discounts and preferential prices.
Through Imtiyazat programme, the FAHR aims to create a positive and stimulating environment for ministers’ and federal government’s employees and ensure the career happiness and wellbeing. It also aims to enhance the competitiveness of the UAE’s federal government by promoting it as an incubator for professionals and a top destination for talented, creative and innovative people.
The discount programme was announced during a ceremony held in Dubai in the presence of Dr Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Director General of FAHR, and all chief happiness and positivity officers at the federal government as well as a number of directors and officials.
“Imtiyazat initiative is a key factor that serves the UAE’s efforts and approaches aiming to ensures the harmony, happiness and satisfaction of federal government employees to boost their performance and productivity” Al Awar said,
He added that Imtiyazat is one of the largest discount programme in the UAE that benefit federal government employees and their families in 57 ministries and bodies.
“Imtiyazat, as a smart App, serves the targeted employees at any time and any place and boosts the wise leadership’s approaches towards automation and smart transformation. The Imtiyazat App is easy to use and extraordinarily interactive. It suggests the latest offers provided by Imtiyazat partners as well as interactive maps for locations of offers. The App also allows introducing new offers and updating existing ones, Al Awar noted.
He highlighted that the authority has signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with more than 200 private companies and institutions as part of Imtiyazat programme and is still working to increase the number of companies dealing with Imtiyazat while focusing on diversifying the business sectors of these companies. Companies wishing to join in the Imtiyazat programme can register on the authority’s website www.fahr.gov.ae, Al Awar added.
