Dubai: Three branches of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) will be open during the Isra Wal Miraj holiday on Thursday.
Branches in Al Twar and Al Manara will operate from 9am to 1pm on the public holiday, while the service centre in Dubai airport’s Terminal 3 will operate round the clock.
However, the GDRFA’s toll-free number (8005111) will still be available round the clock for inquiries about any relevant matters or for emergency transactions.
Major General Mohammad Ahmad Al Merri, director-general of GDRFA congratulated residents, citizens and visitors on the occasion of Isra Wal Miraj.
He said that the department’s staff is working “very hard in order to provide better services to the public and facilitate their transactions to complete them as soon as possible”.
