Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Wednesday discussed with Serbian President Tomislav Nikoli cooperation and bilateral relations and ways to boost them to serve the interests of both nations.

Welcoming the Serbian President at Al Shati Palace, Shaikh Mohammad discussed bilateral relations with Nikoli with specific focus on economic, development and commercial ties and possible ways to develop them. Both leaders said that UAE-Serbian relations run very deep and are witnessing continuous growth in a number of sectors thanks to the keenness of both leaderships to develop joint action plans and look for wider scopes of cooperation.

Both sides also exchanged views about the latest regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Concluding the meeting, President Nikoli awarded Shaikh Mohammad the Order of the Republic of Serbia in recognition of his efforts to develop bilateral relations.

Shaikh Mohammad thanked President Nikoli for his generous gesture, wishing the Serbian leader good health and his country further development and prosperity.
