SMB Computers has finalised a contract with RAKBank to implement Tridion's 'DialogServer' to enable the bank to manage its Web content.

The contract was awarded to SMB after the bank evaluated several options.

"Tridion's DialogServer efficiently structures enterprise-wide processes for the creation, management, distribution and delivery of business critical content across multiple Web sites, portals, e-applications and paper based publications," said Seyed Ibrahim Bukhary, director, SMB Computers.

"Implementing such a solution will enable RAKBank to reduce the reliance of its users on the IT department."

Several leading content management solutions were thoroughly evaluated before the bank finally chose to go ahead with Tridion.

Tridion was primarily selected based on the need for robust functionality and features, total cost of ownership (TCO), rapid return on investment (ROI) and its quick implementation (average six to eight weeks).

RAKBank also imported its entire Web content (both Intranet and Extranet) into the CMS which went live recently.

"Tridion's content management capability has changed the way we do web content management at RAKBank. It is an investment for our people and not just a technology investment," said Sekhar Vardhan, head of business re-engineering at RAKBank.

SMB Computers recently completed a major IT project at RAKBank.
