Sharjah: This year's Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) attracted 465,000 visitors in the last three days.
SIBF director Ahmad Bin Rakad Al Ameri said there were about 200,000 registered visitors on the third day alone, adding that he expected the number to rise by 25 per cent.
Al Ameri said that there was also a surge in the number of participating publishing houses, with 1, 256 representing 56 countries.
