Dubai: A car number plates auction held by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) raised more than Dh25m recently.
Some 120 distinguished numbers, some of them two-digits, were auctioned.
The plate L16 fetched the highest amount at Dh1.9 million, followed by N70 for Dh1.64 million and L55555 for Dh1.13 million. The 78th auction was held by the RTA’s Licensing Agency and around 120 people participated.
