Dubai: A 31-year-old Dubai entrepreneur from a well-known Indian business family died of a cardiac arrest in New York last week.

Ambika Chadha, daughter of Hersh W. Chadha and grand daughter of the late Waseshwar Nath (WIN) Chadha, was on a holiday to the US when she met with a sudden death, sources close to the family said.

“She was traveling with family in the US when she suffered a cardiac arrest (on April 15). She had arrived in New York from Las Vegas shortly before the end came,” one of them said.

Ambika was the director of Quartermile, a first-of-its-kind car spa in Dubai, which exclusively distributes several high end motor sport products and accessories and provides car customisation and performance enhancement services in the UAE.

Daughter of Hersh Chadha and Nandini Aggarwal, Ambika was the sister of Gauri Chadha and the late Prabhakar H. Chadha who died in a car accident in Dubai in March 2005.

Ambika’s mother Nandini Aggarwal was inconsolable when XPRESS contacted her on Wednesday afternoon. “I do not want to say anything now,” she said.

A condolence meeting will be held at the Grand Excelsior Hotel (Dhow Palace Hotel) in Mankhool between 5 and 6 pm on April 24, the sources said.
