Dubai: The Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) today announced the agenda for the fourth edition of the Arab Women Leadership Forum which will be held under the theme “Towards Global Competitiveness” during a press conference held in Dubai

In line with the forum’s theme, the presenters will deliberate on various issues that fall under the broader Global Competitiveness category, as they bring attention to all the multiple factors that strengthen the case for women’s involvement in economic growth and their participation as key enablers of change and progress.

The press conference began with a welcome address by Shamsa Saleh, CEO of DWE, in which she said: “The Dubai Women Establishment aims to use this forum to continue to shine a light on the importance of the role that women play in the process of innovation and development in the UAE. The UAE taking a leading position in several world reports truly reflects the role of Emirati women in different sectors and represents the success of the UAE in enhancing women’s participation in the workplace.”

The panel discussions will focus on ‘Women In Economy – Participating Impact on Nation’s Competitiveness’, ‘Beyond Numbers: Women’s Political Contribution in GCC’, ‘Gender Perspectives in Legislations’. On the second day, panellists will discuss: ‘Competitiveness and Inclusion of Women’s Participation in the Private Sector’, ‘Workplaces That Work: Conducive Policies On Female Retention’, and ‘Entrepreneurship: An Impact On Competitive Edge.’
