Hadramaut: Emirates Red Crescent has distributed 20 tonnes of medicines to public hospitals in Hadramaut Valley as part of the UAE’s continuous support for the Yemeni health-care sector.

ERC delivered the medical aid to three hospitals in the towns of Tarim, Seiyun and Qatan, in the presence of local government officials.

Essam Habreesh, Undersecretary at the Governorate of Hadramaut for Affairs of the Valley and the Desert Areas, and Dr Hani Al Amoudi, director of the office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, thanked the UAE and its humanitarian agency for the effort.

Dr Mohammad Al Qaf, director of the public hospital in Tarim, described the aid as timely relief for patients who were in dire need of the medicines.
