Sharjah:
A Bangladeshi man was killed and four others seriously injured when the vehicle they were travelling in flipped over on Sharjah-Maleiha Road in Sharjah on Saturday, a Sharjah Police official told Gulf News.
The driver died on the spot while his passengers sustained serious injuries in the crash.
The Bangladeshi driver lost control of his vehicle, which veered off the road and overturned several times.
Meanwhile, a 37-year-old Indian man died on Saturday in a run-over road accident in Sharjah, police said.
The deceased was crossing the road in an area not designated for pedestrians. He was run over by a speeding vehicle.
The driver who caused the accident was taken into police custody for questioning.
