Cairo: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has shipped humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Mohammad Bin Nakhira Al Daheri, UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative at the Arab League, in coordination with ERC, has overseen the process of shipping the aid, which includes 200 tonnes of medicine, food, and blankets, to the Gaza Strip as part of the UAE compassion campaign (Tarahamu). Al Daheri directed the members of the diplomatic mission at the embassy to coordinate and cooperate with the ERC to dispatch the second batch of aid convoys, which reached the Rafah border crossing and were received by the Palestine Red Crescent Society for distribution among the Palestinian people.
