Ras Al Khaimah: Nine serious traffic accidents were recorded in Ras Al Khaimah during the Eid holidays, while no major accident was reported in Ajman.
Brigadier Hassan Ebraheim Ali, deputy director general of the central operations room at Ras Al Khaimah Police, said the police received calls for nine serious and 346 minor accidents and 10 medical emergencies between September 11 to September 17.
Brig Ebraheim urged the public to call 999 only in case of emergencies and not to seek informaton.
Meanwhile, no major traffic accidents were recorded in Ajman during the Eid Al Adha holidays, said Major Saif Abdullah Al Falasi, Deputy Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police.
He said that no deaths or serious injuries were reported in Ajman during the Eid break.
