Dubai: A minor fire that broke out in a parked car in a construction area near the Citywalk extension was put out by civil defence on Tuesday afternoon.
Witnesses said a construction vehicle caught fire at around 11.50am.
One fire truck from the Dubai Civil Defence was dispatched to handle the situation.
“The fire was put out within 15minutes. No one got injured,” a witness told Gulf News, declining to give his name.
Another witness said it was a minor fire that was dealt with quickly. No official comment from Dubai Civil Defence was immediately available.
