Ras Al Khaimah: An Emirati teenager died yesterday when his motorcycle crashed into a car on a two-way street that he saw too late.

K.A.A., 19, was driving his motorcycle in Al Dhait South, when he crashed into a car driven by S.A.S., 18.

Colonel Ali Saeed Al Aleikum, Director of Ras Al Khaimah Traffic and Patrols, said that sudden swerving by K.A.A. to avoid collision was the cause of the accident.

It appeared that a car entered the road suddenly, which made K.A.A. swerve and hit the car due to low visibility caused by the weather conditions. S.A.S. was not able to avoid the accident.

K.A.A sustained serious head injuries, which led to his death on the scene before the ambulance could take him to hospital.

Col Al Aleikum urged the public to be careful when driving during unstable weather conditions to avoid tragic accidents.
