Tunis: The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has distributed aid to 6,150 underprivileged families in the Tunisian governorates of Sousse and Monastir on the Tunisian coast and Ben Arous, located south of the Tunisian capital.

An official source at the Foundation said that the second phase of the programme will reach governorates which were not covered in the first phase, which aided 39,000 underprivileged families. He said that during the second phase, aid will be distributed to 35,000 Tunisian families living in different governorates.

He added that the aid is in implementation of the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the follow-up of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
