Ras Al Khaimah: A cyclist in Ras Al Khaimah died after being hit by a car early on Tuesday.
The 47-year-old Asian man was knocked down when the 25-year-old Emirati driver lost control of his vehicle.
Police patrols and paramedics rushed to the spot, but the man had died from his injuries.
In Sharjah, a run-over incident in Industrial area No 4 on Tuesday left a 21-year-old Pakistani man seriously injured.
The victim was admitted to Al Qasimi Hospital while the car driver is in police custody.
