Sharjah: Lughati (My Language), the educational initiative dedicated to support learning Arabic the smart way, has concluded its first summer camp for children and students.
Launched on July 14 and spread over several sites in Sharjah as well as one in Dubai, the camp’s programme of educational and leisure activities was designed to instil a love of the Arabic language in its participants.
A main component of Lughati’s summer camp was a series of workshops that used the ‘Horouf’ (alphabets) application. The smart device tool aims to enrich children’s vocabulary, encourage them to express themselves eloquently and motivate them to use Arabic in their everyday discourse.
