Dubai: GEMS Education is expected to open the GEMS Winchester School in Fujairah offering the National Curriculum for England for the 2016-2017 academic year. The school will initially open classes from KG1 up to Grade 8, eventually opening all the way through to Grade 12.
The school is presently focusing on recruiting talent and is set to open applications during the summer, after obtaining final permissions from the Ministry of Education, with full school operations starting within September.

GEMS Winchester School Fujairah is located 10 minutes from the Fujairah City Centre. Facilities across primary and secondary grades include science laboratories, individual medical rooms for boys and girls, kindergarten indoor play area, indoor multipurpose hall, full basketball court area, outdoor 11-a-side football pitch and multi-use games area and courts.
GEMS says its British curriculum schools achieved exam results that are up to 20 percentage points higher than the average student in England. Over the past six years, students from GEMS British Curriculum schools have won over 138 Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards issued by the Cambridge International Examinations. Nine of these have been Top of the World awards and 84 have been Top of Their Country awards.
