Dubai: Preparations for school students’ final exams are in full swing by the UAE Ministry of Education.

Marwan Al Sawaleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, said measures are all in place and in line with the directives of Hussain Ebrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, who issued instructions to take all the necessary procedures to ensure optimum stability before and during exams.

Final exams have been rescheduled due to Ramadan. The exams for grades 1-11 will begin on June 14 and end on June 22. Exams for grade 12 students will take place on June 21. Exams for grade 12 science students will end on June 30 and for art students on July 2.

The results of grade 12 exams will be announced on July 9.

The resolution was issued by Al Hammadi in response to a call by parents to conducts the exams a few days earlier than the predetermined schedule.

Al Sawaleh said the ministry has taken the interests of pupils and the predetermined school calendar into consideration while setting the exam schedule for pupils at various educational stages, to ensure their psychological and mental stability.
