Dubai: The 14th Careers UAE, the country’s specialised job and training fair focused on empowering UAE nationals, will be the largest to date with an increase of 27 per cent in exhibition space across 17,388sq m and 10 per cent more exhibitors with over 160 companies currently confirmed.
This year, Careers UAE will also showcase several advanced training initiatives and highlight the widest breadth of professional career opportunities for UAE nationals.
Organised under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Careers UAE will be held from April 22 to 24 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre under the theme ‘Together We Build the Vision of our Nation’.
In line with the national agenda to promote education and employment in view of the rapid development across all industries in the UAE, the exhibition will bring together leading governmental entities and private sector leaders to reach out to skilled UAE nationals by offering them rewarding career opportunities.
The 10 per cent rise in the number of exhibitors at Careers UAE highlights the growing commitment of companies to support the government’s goal of achieving a tenfold increase in Emiratisation in the private sector by 2021. Significantly, many exhibitors are taking more space compared to last year.
Among the exhibitioners is Emirates Group, which received 1,500 applications last year.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to take advantage of a series of seminars featuring industry leaders within the automotive, aviation and tourism sectors.
Other major exhibitors include Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, DP World, National Electronic Security Authority, Etihad Rail, Dubai Police, Nakheel and etisalat.
