He said the Dubai Tram was used by 301,299 people and the Dubai Marina Station was the busiest in the network as it served 77,807 people.

“People have started to grasp the benefits of using public transport systems including the peace of mind and hassle-free mobility as well as the reduced expenses of fuel and vehicle maintenance,” he said.

The Red Line of the Dubai Metro transported 9,468,963 people in January and Deira City Centre Station topped the list by serving as much as 641,663 people, followed by Burj Khalifa — Dubai Mall Station, which served 629,861 passengers.
