Dubai: A packed calendar of family-centric events and activities were announced for the 8th edition of the ‘Eid in Dubai — Eid Al Adha’ celebrations, which will take place from September 17 to 26.

As a social and cultural initiative launched by DFRE in 2008, ‘Eid in Dubai — Eid Al Adha’ brings together people from different communities and cultures in the emirate’s multicultural environment under the theme ‘United in Celebration’.

Laila Mohammad Suhail, CEO of DFRE, said It is that time of year when families from around the world get into celebration mode no matter from which country or community they hail from, in a true reflection of Dubai’s strong multicultural fabric.

“We can take pride in the fact that this special period of celebration has become an intrinsic part of the social and cultural calendar of Dubai, and this is further enhanced this year by a diverse calendar of events that will ensure that every member of the family has many memorable moments to take away from their Eid holidays.”
